Rustic Fig & Goat Cheese Tart with Rosemary Crust

Rustic Fig & Goat Cheese Tart

— Tarte Rustique aux Figues et Fromage de Chèvre

Rustic fig tart with golden rosemary crust, chèvre filling, and fresh fig halves on a vintage stoneware plate

A celebration of late summer’s bounty — ripe figs, creamy chèvre, and a rosemary-kissed crust.

This tart was made for twilight hours and Provençal dreams. A golden, herb-flecked crust cradles a creamy chèvre base topped with fresh figs — halved and caramelized to perfection. Drizzled with honey and scattered with pistachios, it’s as stunning as it is simple. Part of The Gilded Table: August Edition from Life in Bianca’s Kitchen.

Notes:
Swap in cream cheese or ricotta if you prefer a milder filling. No fresh figs? Use sliced plums or pears. This tart pairs beautifully with a chilled glass of rosé and a scattering of garden herbs.
