Prosciutto & Fig Bites

— A Summer Soirée Starter

Prosciutto-wrapped fig halves drizzled with honey and garnished with rosemary on a vintage plate

Sweetness and salt, shadow and sun — these little bites are a midsummer lullaby, best savored by candlelight as laughter dances on the breeze.

These coastal canapés blend Mediterranean ease with vintage aperitif elegance. Fresh figs wrapped in delicate prosciutto, drizzled with honey and kissed with herbs — a sweet-and-savory bite that evokes golden hour gatherings by the sea. A note from Bianca:
These were one of the first things I made in our new kitchen here in the Rockies — just after sunset, windows open, a soft breeze curling in. I love how they require almost no effort, yet feel so elegant. Serve them on your grandmother’s platter or a picnic board… and don’t forget the wine.
