Serving 4 to 6 guests with tea, as part of an afternoon garden table, or tucked into parchment for gifting.
Lavender-Honey Madeleines
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon lavender flowers
- 1 tablespoon honey
- White chocolate for dipping
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, honey, and lavender.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Fill madeleine pans and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Once cooled, dip in melted white chocolate and allow to set.
